This serial is about Kamalacharan Mukhuty aka Kamala who had to take responsibility of his entire family right from the time his father died; an immense task that had ensured he remains unmarried even at 39. Though his entire family is worried about this, Kamal himself, is in no for a late marriage. One day he meets a smart, bubbly 20 year old Kuhu ... Meets in the sense that they actually bang into each other headlong at a shopping mall. In the following chaos, their shopping bags get exchanged... and that is where it all begins. Following this incident they coincidentally keep coming across each other; and every time that they do, some hilarious situation full of miscommunications follows. Thus two people, who differ from each other not only by their age difference but in every other aspect, are destined to spend their life together... but will they be able to?
